Co-Promotion Rules/ Terms and Conditions

From January 27, 2007 to December 31st 2007, present your Western Union Gold Card at participating Air Philippines agent locations in the Philippines or online at www.airphils.com to receive a 3-7% discount on Air Philippines airfare purchases to select destinations.

1. Information on how to qualify and applicable discounts form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Benefit is available to all Western Union Gold cardholders in the Philippines paying cash toward purchase of domestic airline tickets.
3. The promotion commences on January 27, 2007 and closes on December 31, 2007 (“Promotion Period”) and is subject to extension upon agreement by both parties.
4. The Western Union Gold Card will be honored in all participating Air Philippines ticketing offices in the Philippines and on the Air Philippines website (www.airphils.com). Air Philippines shall offer the following discounts on qualified domestic destinations:
1. For Website or Textsite booking: 7% discount on Published Fares
1. Website booking: Passenger needs to log at Air Philippines website, www.airphils.com, to make a booking
2. Textsite booking: Smart and Talk N’ Text subscribers will text AP to 700088 to access Air Philippines’ flight schedule, fare, and list of ticket offices.
2. For other bookings: 3% discount on Published Fares and Tour Packages
1. Refers to bookings made either through reservations office or ticket offices
3. For group bookings (10 passengers above): 3% discount on applicable group rates.
5. For validation purposes, the Western Union Gold Card must be presented to the participating Air Philippines Ticket Offices upon payment and claiming of ticket(s).
6. The Western Union-Air Philippines promotion shall be valid only for cash purchases.
7. Tickets must be purchased within the promotional period of January 27, 2007 through December 31, 2007.
8. The discount cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.
9. The discount is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Western Union excludes liability in connection with the promotion once the participant enjoys any benefit relating to the promotion to the full extent permitted by law.
10. Western Union Gold Card decals and POS materials shall be installed in all participating Air Philippines ticketing offices to serve as a reminder to frontliners and Western Union Gold cardholders that the card is honored in that establishment.
11. In the event that any benefit of the promotion becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Western Union’s, Western Union will not be held liable for such event.
12. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, Western Union and its related bodies corporate and agents associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any gift.
13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to vandalism, power failure, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant Department) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or may disqualify at its sole discretion any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion.
14. Acceptance of the discount will be deemed as consent by the Western Union Gold cardholder to take part in related publicity for advertising and trade without compensation, unless prohibited.
15. Air Philippines shall shoulder the following costs:
1. Cost of awarding 7% discount on published fares for website or textsite bookings
2. Cost of awarding 3% discount on published fares for other bookings and tour packages
3. Cost of awarding 3% discount for group bookings of 10 passengers and above.
16. Western Union shall shoulder the following costs:
1. Advertising of the Western Union Gold Card Program
2. Production of Western Union Gold Card Program decals and POS materials, cost of deployment and installation.
3. Program Operational costs of the Western Union Gold Card program.
17. Air Philippines authorizes Western Union to use its logo in all advertising and collaterals related to the Western Union Gold Card program.
